Full disclosure: I am an active Enagic distributor. That means I earn commission when people join under me. I'm telling you this upfront because I'm also about to show you the income disclosure numbers that most distributors bury—and you should know exactly where I stand before you read anything I write about this business.
If you're researching the Enagic business opportunity, you'll find two kinds of content online: distributor pages that make it sound like a guaranteed path to financial freedom, and anti-MLM blogs that make it sound like a guaranteed path to financial ruin.
Neither is accurate.
This guide does something neither of those does: it explains exactly how the compensation plan works, shows you what the average distributor actually earns, and gives you the information you need to decide whether this makes sense for you. All figures reference Enagic's official June 2025 Distributor Compensation Plan PDF and Enagic USA's own published earnings disclosure.
Let's start with the number nobody wants to show you (except anti-MLM blogs).
What Enagic's Own Data Says About Distributor Earnings
Before anything else, read this. It's verbatim from Enagic USA's Earnings Disclosure Statement:
"The statistics below reflect the median number of commissions earned by Distributors, divided by rank, from the sale of any Enagic product in 2024. This includes all allowances, bonuses and other incentives earned in recognition of performance. These statistics do not include expenses that may be incurred by Distributors, such as money they chose to spend on their own for events, supplies, or the like; these expenses can be significant."
The median Enagic distributor at 1A earned $466.30 in 2024, before expenses. That's not a criticism of the business. It's a fact that should shape every other number in this guide. But that number requires context to be useful. Nearly half of all distributors (49.90%) are at 1A, the starting rank. Understanding who's in that population, and why the median sits where it does, changes how you read every other figure in this guide.
We cover the full breakdown in the income disclosure article →, including the denominator insight that most distributor sites skip entirely. For now, the number that matters is this: if you join and build actively, the $466.30 median is your starting context, not your ceiling. It describes a mixed population of active builders and passive buyers. Where you end up depends on which one you are.
That figure is also consistent with broader industry data. The FTC's September 2024 staff report on MLM income disclosure statements reviewed 70 MLM companies and found that the vast majority of participants earned $1,000 or less per year before expenses.
Understanding why the median is so low—and what the people above it did differently—is the real purpose of this guide.
Definition
Median vs average—why they're different, and why it matters here
The median is the middle value when all figures are ranked from lowest to highest. Half fall above it, half below. The average (mean) adds everything together and divides by the total count.
They diverge when a small number of very high earners exist alongside a large number of low earners—which is exactly the shape of MLM income distributions. A handful of distributors earning $100,000+ pulls the average up significantly while the median stays anchored to the middle of the population.
Enagic publishes the median, not the average. That's the more honest figure for evaluating typical outcomes.
Median earnings — 1A
$466
The middle distributor. Half earn more, half earn less. 49.90% of all distributors are at 1A.
Weighted average — all ranks
~$3,648
Pulled up by 11 distributors at 6A2-6+ earning a median of $1,462,729 each.
The earnings axis uses a logarithmic scale — each step up represents a 10× increase, not a fixed dollar amount. This makes all ranks visible simultaneously.
Weighted average calculated using each rank’s published median × number of distributors as a proxy for individual earnings within each rank. Enagic does not publish individual earnings data; actual average may differ. How the Compensation Plan Is Structured
Enagic's compensation plan has four distinct tiers that unlock as your business grows.
Tier 1—Core commissions (all distributors, from your first sale)
The 8-Point Commission, Special Point bonus, filter commissions, and Ukon commissions. These are available immediately and form the financial foundation of the business.
Tier 2—6A incentives (101+ total group sales)
Title Incentive, 6A Group Sales Award, Rising Step-Up Award, and Educational Allowance. These unlock at 6A, the rank that marks you as an established builder.
Tier 3—6A2 incentives (two direct 6A leaders in your organisation)
Monthly and Quarterly Sales Incentives tied to your team's overall volume.
Tier 4—Global Financial Support—legacy income (6A2-3 and above)
Advancement bonuses, Global Profit Sharing, and Global Financial Support—a willable monthly income that transfers to family members.
Most people researching this business will spend their first one to three years in Tier 1. Understanding it properly is what matters most at this stage.
Tier 1: The 8-Point Commission
The Basic Mechanics
Every time an Enagic product is sold, the company pays out commission across 8 points. Think of those 8 points as 8 slices of a commission pie, distributed among the distributor who made the sale and up to 8 levels of their upline.
The seller earns points equal to their rank: a 1A earns 1 point, a 3A earns 3 points, and a 6A earns 6 points. The remaining points flow upward through the upline until all 8 are distributed.
The dollar value of each point depends on the product. For the flagship Leveluk K8 (the most commonly sold machine at ~$5,890 USD), each point is worth $270 USD under standard commission, or $351 USD when you have Special Point status (more on that below).
A 6A distributor making a direct K8 sale with SP status earns 6 × $351 = $2,106 from a single K8 sale.
A 1A distributor at their first sale earns 1 × $351 = $351 from that same sale.
The remaining points flow to their upline. This is why your rank matters, and why building to 6A is the first core financial objective of the business.
Commission is paid on a daily cycle, not monthly, not weekly. Each confirmed sale triggers its own payment 14 business days after confirmation. Make a sale today, and you're paid in 14 business days. Make another sale tomorrow, and that payment follows 14 business days after that. Every sale has its own payment timeline running in parallel.

SP (Special Point) status requires a direct personal sale within the last 90 days; without it, you earn the lower standard commission rate. The Special Point (SP) Bonus
The SP bonus adds a meaningful premium per point—$81 extra per point on a K8, for example—but it comes with a condition: you must have made a direct personal sale within the past 90 days to qualify.
This is the mechanic most distributor explanations get wrong. Many sites quote a single "$351/point" figure as if it applies universally. It doesn't. If you haven't made a direct sale in 90 days, you lose SP status and earn the lower standard commission rate on all points—including points generated by your team.
For someone building primarily through indirect team sales, rather than personal sales, this can meaningfully reduce monthly earnings. Ask yourself honestly how frequently you expect to be making direct personal sales, because SP status is how you maximise every commission your team generates.
One practical way many distributors maintain SP status is through an active Ukon subscription: a Ukon Sigma counts as a direct sale and maintains SP status for 12 months; Ukon DD maintains it for 4 months (when renewed for another 4-month term).
How Rank Affects Your Earnings
Your rank is determined by your accumulated total sales, which includes your own direct sales plus your team's indirect sales flowing through your position (as long as there are points remaining out of the 8 points).
| Rank | Sales required | Points earned per sale |
|---|---|---|
| 1A | First 1–2 direct sales | 1 point |
| 2A | 3–10 total sales | 2 points |
| 3A | 11–20 total sales | 3 points |
| 4A | 21–50 total sales | 4 points |
| 5A | 51–100 total sales | 5 points |
| 6A | 101+ total sales | 6 points |
The critical difference between Enagic and most direct sales companies: once you reach a rank, you keep it. There is no monthly requalification, no volume requirement to maintain your position, and no de-ranking. A distributor who reaches 4A and takes six months off is still a 4A when they return.
There are also no monthly quotas. You are not required to sell a minimum number of products per month to maintain your distributorship.
Filter and Ukon Commissions
Every Enagic machine requires replacement filters on a regular schedule. Distributors earn ongoing commission when their customers reorder filters. It accumulates until it reaches a $250 USD threshold, then pays out. This is genuine residual income: once a customer has a machine, filter revenue continues for the life of that machine.
Ukon DD (Enagic's Japanese turmeric supplement subscription) pays 8 points at $40/point per recurring order. Ukon Sigma pays 8 points at $115/point for an annual supply. Both create ongoing income streams that require no additional sales effort once established.
Multi-Product Orders: Trifecta, Quad, and Six Pack
Many buyers purchase multiple Enagic products together. When they do, the order in which the products are placed materially affects how much the seller and buyer earn.
"Trifecta," "Quad" (or "Quadzilla"), and "Six Pack" are distributor shorthand for common multi-product combinations, not official Enagic terms.
How It Works
In a multi-product order, each additional product after the first opens a new distributor lane for the buyer, and each new lane absorbs a share of the 8 commission points before the seller receives their portion:
- 1st product: seller receives full points
- 2nd product: buyer's lane absorbs 1 point
- 3rd product: buyer's lane absorbs 1 point
- 4th product and beyond: buyer's lane absorbs 2 points
This means the seller earns fewer points on products placed later in the order. Placement strategy determines total commission.
Trifecta Commission: Anespa DX → Ukon Sigma → K8
At 6A with SP status:
| Product | Position | Points | Commission |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anespa DX | 1st | 6 | $1,170 |
| Ukon Sigma | 2nd | 5 | $575 |
| K8 | 3rd | 5 | $1,755 |
| Total | $3,500 |
Total order volume is approximately $11,970 USD.

What the customer earns
The customer receives these commissions as a 1A distributor on the products they absorb in the order. They must sign up as an Enagic distributor to receive them.

The Honest Context on Multi-Product Orders
These commission figures are compelling. But before getting too attached to them, return to the income disclosure: the median distributor earned $466.30 for the year. Most distributors are not regularly closing Trifecta or Quad orders. The commission chart represents the ceiling, not the floor, and not the average.
Tier 2: 6A Awards
Reaching 6A—101 or more total group sales—unlocks four additional income streams.
Title Incentive—A one-time $3,000 USD payment when you first achieve 6A rank, contingent on 10 group sales in the qualification month.
6A Group Sales Award—A monthly award based on your "open volume", which describes sales activity in your organisation without another 6A distributor between you and the sale. It ranges from $200 to $4,000 per month, depending on total group sales and your personal contribution. Paid monthly for six months after achieving 6A.
Rising Step-Up Award—Paid to you when a distributor in your downline achieves 6A. The amount ($190–$1,300/month) depends on the new 6A's sales volume at qualification. Paid monthly for six months. This is the mechanism that financially rewards you for developing team leaders.
Educational Allowance—Paid daily on sales that occur below your 8-point range—under 6A distributors in your downline, up to three 6A levels deep. On a K8 sale with SP status, the first 6A above receives $200; the second and third receive $50 each. This rewards depth of organisation.
Tier 3 and 4: 6A2 and Legacy Income
These tiers require developing two direct 6A leaders in your organisation. The compensation at these levels is substantial.
Advancement Bonuses
| Rank | One-time bonus |
|---|---|
| 6A | $3,000 |
| 6A2 | $6,000 |
| 6A2-2 | $12,000 |
| 6A2-3 | $25,000 |
| 6A2-4 | $50,000 |
| 6A2-5 | $100,000 |
| 6A2-6 | $200,000 |
| 6A2-7 | $400,000 |
| 6A2-8 | $800,000 |
Global Financial Support: Willable Legacy Income
Starting at 6A2-3, distributors who qualify receive a minimum monthly income that can be willed to a family member and continues after the distributor passes away.
| Rank | Monthly minimum |
|---|---|
| 6A2-3 | $5,000+ |
| 6A2-4 | $10,000+ |
| 6A2-5 | $15,000+ |
| 6A2-6 | $20,000+ |
| 6A2-7 | $40,000+ |
| 6A2-8 | $80,000+ |
This is every distributor's goal, and it's genuinely rare in the industry. Most direct sales income stops when the distributor stops. At the 6A2-3 level and above, it becomes a transferable asset.
The honest caveat: reaching 6A2-3 requires developing two distributors who each develop two distributors who each reach 6A2—a multi-year team-building effort that most distributors will not complete.
As per the Earnings Disclosure Statement, in 2024, there were 126 6A2-3 distributors in the USA, which makes up 0.35% of all US distributors. Their median amount earned was USD $106,578.86.
What Makes This Plan Structurally Different
Several features genuinely distinguish Enagic's structure from conventional MLMs, which is why many distributors claim it's not an MLM (even though it technically is):
- No de-ranking. Your rank is permanent. Most MLMs require monthly volume to maintain rank. Enagic doesn't.
- No mandatory autoship. Ukon subscriptions are optional and consumer-driven.
- Product-only commissions. Per Enagic's own earnings disclosure: "Distributors cannot earn income from sponsoring or recruiting team members." Commission is paid only when products are sold.
- No sign-up fee. You become a distributor by purchasing a product, not by paying a joining fee.
- No inventory requirements. Enagic ships directly to customers.
- Daily payment. The 8-point commission pays the day of sale confirmation.
- Global distribution rights. Your distributorship covers all 44 countries where Enagic operates.
- Patented structure. The 8-point commission system holds a US patent.
- No required upfront investment via Tokurei. Enagic's Tokurei programme allows you to become a distributor at the time of placing your first direct sale, paying off your machine in instalments from your commissions.
What This Plan Doesn't Fix
The structural advantages above are real. But they don't change the median earnings reality.
The $466.30 median exists because most people who join Enagic don't build actively. Some make one or two sales and stop. Some never make a sale. The plan rewards consistent high-volume selling and active team development—most distributors do neither.
Before joining, honestly assess:
Your realistic sales pipeline. Who will you sell to, and how? The K8 costs approximately $5,890 USD. Your customers need to both trust your recommendation and have the financial capacity to purchase.
Your SP maintenance strategy. If you can't consistently make direct sales every 90 days, you'll earn the lower standard commission on every point your team generates. Build this into your projections.
Your real cost of entry. Machine purchase, plus any training platform ($99–$897/year), plus ad spend or marketing tools, means your actual cost of entry is substantially higher than the machine price alone.
Your timeline expectations. Building to 6A requires 101 cumulative total group sales. For most distributors working part-time, this takes two to four years. The 6A compensation tier is meaningful; the 1A through 5A tier is significantly more modest, but it does improve with every rank up.
The Bottom Line
The Enagic compensation plan is genuinely well-designed for what it does. The no-deranking structure, daily payments, product-only commissions, and willable legacy income are real advantages over most comparable opportunities.
The honest picture is that building meaningful income requires consistent personal sales, active team development, and a multi-year commitment to reach the ranks where the plan becomes truly compelling. Most people who join don't put in that work, which is why the median sits at $466.30.
If you're evaluating this seriously, the question isn't whether the plan can pay well. It demonstrably can. The question is whether you will build the way it requires.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Enagic compensation plan?
The Enagic compensation plan is a direct sales commission structure that pays 8 points per product sale, distributed among the selling distributor and their upline based on rank. A 6A distributor earns 6 of 8 points per sale; a 1A earns 1. Point values vary by product—on the K8 with SP status, each point is worth $351. The plan includes no de-ranking, no mandatory autoship, and no income from recruiting. Full details at enagic.com/pdf/63/Distributor_Compensation_Plan.pdf
How much does an Enagic 1A distributor earn per sale?
One point at $351 (with SP status) = $351 per direct sale on a K8. Without SP status, $270 per direct sale. These are US figures—the compensation plan differs by country.
How long does it take to reach 6A in Enagic?
Reaching 6A requires 101 total group sales. Based on community experience, part-time distributors typically reach 6A in two to four years; full-time builders can reach it faster.
How does the Enagic 8-point commission work?
Every Enagic product sale generates 8 commission points, distributed between the selling distributor and their upline based on rank. The seller earns points equal to their rank—a 1A earns 1 point, a 6A earns 6. The remaining points flow upward. On a K8 sale with SP status, each point is worth $351. The total commission per sale is capped at 8 points across all levels—the upline cannot take more than what remains after the seller's allocation. A higher-ranked downline distributor always earns more per sale than a lower-ranked upline.
What happens to your Enagic SP status if you stop making sales?
If you go 90 days without a direct personal sale, you lose Special Point status and earn the lower standard D1 commission rate on all points—including points generated by your team—until you make another direct sale. On a K8, this means $270 per point instead of $351 per point.
Is the Enagic compensation plan the same in Australia, UK, and Canada?
The structure is identical globally, but point dollar values differ by country. Contact Enagic Australia, Enagic UK, or Enagic Canada directly for current local rates.
What is the Enagic 6A2-2 income?
Per Enagic USA's 2024 Earnings Disclosure Statement, the median 6A2-2 distributor earned $27,695.27 before expenses in 2024. Reaching 6A2-2 requires developing two direct 6A2 distributors in your organisation—each of whom has themselves developed two direct 6As. In 2024, 261 US distributors held this rank, representing 0.73% of all registered distributors.
